Ingredients

10 servings
  1. 2 cupall-purpose flour
  2. 2 cupwhole-wheat flour
  3. 1 tspbaking soda
  4. 2 tspbaking powder
  5. 2 tspsalt
  6. 6 tbspsugar
  7. 6whole eggs, beaten
  8. 4 oz(1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  9. 4 cup(1 quart) buttermilk, room temperature

Cooking Instructions

    whisk together the flours, soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar

  2. 2

    In another bowl beat together eggs and melted butter

  3. 3

    Add the buttermilk to the eggs & butter mixture

  4. 4

    Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir until combined

  5. 5

    Allow to rest for 5 minutes

  6. 6

    Scoop the recommended amount onto the waffle iron and cook per the appliance's instructions
