Fun and ready to make with some tart apples of the tree. Modified it to have brown sugar instead of white. Baked in oven for 45 minutes. Super tasty recipe!

Added pecans to topping then carmel sause, used about half sugar in recipe. Perfect for whip cream, hot or cold. Absolutely wonderful desert!!

Great recipe, I made my own modified version. I added 1 tsp nutmeg to apples and instead of water, I substituted 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1/2 cup vanilla brandy, and 1 tbsp grand marnier.
