Ingredients

  1. Chicken and sauce----------
  2. 1/2 cupflour, all purpose
  3. 1/2 cupbutter
  4. 1-1/2 cupmilk
  5. 1/4 cupchopped pimento peppers
  6. 1/3 cupchopped onion
  7. 15 ouncegreen peas
  8. 1 teaspoonsalt
  9. 1/2 teaspoonground black pepper
  10. 1/2 cupsliced mushrooms
  11. 1/4 cupsherry
  12. 1medium bell pepper
  13. 1-1/4 poundchicken breast boneless and skinless
  14. 1-1/4 cupchicken broth
  15. 1chicken bouillon cube
  16. Pasta noodles-----------
  17. 1/2 poundpasta
  18. 1 teaspoonsalt
  19. 3 quartswater
  20. 1 tablespoonextra Virgin olive oil
  21. 2 tablespoonsbutter

Cooking Instructions

    Cube and cook stir frying the chicken turn heat down

  2. 2

    Melt the butter and sauté the pepper, mushrooms, onions, and pimentos.

  3. 3

    Blend in flour, salt, and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is bubbly.

    Stir in instant bouillon, milk, water. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Taste and adjust spices.

    Add the peas let it heat through.

    Cooks the noodles in the water, salt, and oil. Drain the pasta add salt to taste and 2 tablespoons butter and coat the pasta let rest for 3 minutes.

    Serve the chicken over the pasta. Can be served over a biscuit.
