I made this ice cream tonight with my new ice cream maker , I followed the receipt but wish it told me how long to stir ice cream in pan for , I was doing it for 40minutes+ and it still didn't really coat the back of my spoon , but was a bit sick by now so took it of the hob and let it cool , then put it in ice cream maker and waited excitedly for my ice cream 50 mins later it still looked exactly the same , an hour and a half later it still hadn't changed but was fed up now so put it in a container and popped it in the freezer hopefully by tomorrow it'll be ice cream
