I add nuts. Walnuts or pecans, about 3/4 cup. Does the hot water bath keep the banana bread from cracking on top?

hi Michelle, the water bath keeps the insides from getting too brown, the top gets good & dark, will still crack. my family is not a fan of nuts in our bakery but if yours likes it then go for it :)
