What temperature do would you recommend to bake this on for the 4 hours?

When I've used this recipe I've gone with 180deg. But you have to watch out for the top browning too quickly. I'd also recommend using a deep cake tin and tying a layer of corrugated cardboard round the outside of the cake tin. It prevents the outside from overcooking before the centre is done. Test with a skewer in centre of cake, which should come out clean
