I love this meal!! I actually save my dill pickle juice and will add a ladle of the juice to my plate over the corned beef n cabbage. Should try it, its amazing!

Good suggestion on the pickle juice, since I am a fan of drinking it when the jar goes empty ;)

thank you! i do too! :) it takes this dish up to out of this world! when i make stuffed cabbage rolls, I use a can of saurkraut on top before I add the tomato sauce/soup combo. another slam dunk.

Thnx! I was influenced by an old southern heritage cook who strongly suggested cooking the sides separate and using my own spices.
