Turmeric Arroz Caldo - Chicken Congee | Filipino rice porridge Turmeric Arroz Caldo - Chicken Congee | Filipino rice porridge
Turmeric, the miracle spice, is so "in" these days because of its health benefits. Since turmeric is already commonly added to steamed rice, why not add it to a congee (or lugaw in Filipino, or Arroz Caldo, or porridge)! The twist in this Chicken Arroz Caldo or lugaw recipe, aside from the Turmeric addition, is that I've pushed the "healthy" factor by using brown and red rice instead of white or sticky rice. Sounds good, hey? :)This dish is perfect for cold nights and rainy days. 😊 SpottedByD -
Corn and Pork Rib Congee Corn and Pork Rib Congee
For this dish, I'm sharing my method rather than a strict, measured recipe, because I believe that when a wife or mother prepares delicious meals for her family, it's not just about responsibility—it's about putting love into the food. So go ahead—cook in your own way, and remember to add a little extra love and happiness to your dish!P.S.: This dish takes a bit of time because of the simmering, but when it's time to eat, you'll see that all your effort was worth it! bếp nhỏ nhà OlaTranslated from Cookpad Vietnam -

🍚Rice Porridge (Congee)🍚 🍚Rice Porridge (Congee)🍚
A very popular dish throughout Asia, congee is believed to help with hangovers and stomach aches, among other benefits. While I list China as its country of origin, it’s also eaten in Thailand, Korea (juk), and Japan. It’s usually served for breakfast, but you can enjoy it for lunch or dinner too. I’m a big fan, and my kids love it... I hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Lara Aragon " El SARAO DE LARA"Translated from Cookpad Spain -
