question, can I put the eggs in before heating them? and increase the time to 16 min for example?

You could do that, but the eggs won't peel easily. Something about starting with hot water makes the eggs peel perfectly.

ah. True. thx. I started with cold water and struggle to peel them. I will try again ur way
