My grandma used to make green beans in a pot with bacon and potatoes!! This looks just like it but the oven version. I bet it tastes really amazing roasted in the oven! About how many potatoes and green beans do you think you would need for the baking dish?

I didn't really measure or count but I would say at least a half of a 5 pound bag of potatoes and a couple big handfuls of great beans.

Good recipe...next time I'll use canned beans so they turn out soft...fresh green beans need to boil down before cooked in oven for tenderness.
