Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cupalmonds
  2. 1/4 cupcashews
  3. 1/4 cuppista
  4. 1/4 cuppoppy seeds
  5. 1/4 cupmelon seeds
  6. 1/4 cupfennel seeds
  7. 1 tbspcumin seeds
  8. 15-20black pepper corns
  9. 10-15cardamom green
  10. 2 tbspdry rose petals
  11. pinchsaffron
  12. 2-3 tbspsugar

Cooking Instructions

    First in mixer jar add almonds, cashews and pistachios and grind them to a coarse powder. do not run the mixture continuously, as the nuts may leave out oil. add 2 tbsp of sugar and saffron strands, grind again to make powder.(adding sugar helps to make into fine powder)

    Transfer it to a plate.Now in the same jar add Poppy seeds, fennal seeds, cumin seeds,green cardamom, black pepper corns, and dry rose petals. grind them to make fine powder.

    Sieve the mixture if require (it's optional).

    Transfer to a plate and mix both mixtures.store in an airtight container.can be kept in refrigerator too.

    Making Thandai - Take 1 glass of chilled milk add tbsp of thandai mix add required sugar, mix well and set aside to atleast 15 -20 mins. then strain in serving glass and press it well with a spoon.garnish with rose petals and dry fruits slivers.serve cool.
