I like this. I’m just not keen on the fact that we appear to be using skins that people have chewed on already. Lol!

I know the comment is old, but who does Michelle Aaron know that is chewing on watermelon SKINS? Most people just eat the red fruit inside; this recipe does not use that part, nor does it use the white rind. You take a vegetable peeler or paring knife and cut the GREEN SKIN off of the rind and use THAT for this recipe.
