Cooking Instructions
- 1
Grate the cucumber add to it the minced shallot and toss with some salt. Set it aside for 5 minutes to ooze out the cucumber juice. The salt helps to draw out moisture from the cucumber.
- 2
In the meantime, chop the greens – dill, mint and crush the garlic.
Now squeeze excess water from the cucumber, else the sauce will be runny. To this add crushed garlic. - 3
Transfer the Greek yogurt in a bowl and give a gentle mix. Greek yogurt is nothing but the thick yogurt. If you feel your yogurt is not thick, let it rest in a strainer for an 1 hour to drain off any water.
- 4
Now add the chopped greens and season with lemon juice, pepper and salt. Mix it all together and voila. To serve it, add a touch of extra-virgin olive oil for flavor and shine and sprinkle with paprika. Serve it with pita bread or fresh cut vegetables

Quick Sour Cream & Onion Dip with Yoghurt Quick Sour Cream & Onion Dip with Yoghurt
I made this because I love having fried onions and chips with delicious sour cream dip.-Drain the yoghurt as much or as little as you'd like to adjust the texture of the dip to your liking.-For the stir fried onions, you can also use commercially sold fried onions softened in a little bit of water (It's easier this way). For a quantity that is easy to make. Recipe by pogue cookpad.japan -
