These were really good! I didn't have chocolate chips and I had only 1/2 cup of brown sugar so I substituted the rest with white sugar. I want to try them again when I have all the ingredients and I'm sure they'll be even better!

I was looking for a recipe to use up some apples from my moms apple tree and had limited supplies on hand so tried this recipe. They were really good! I didn’t have oatmeal or cinnamon (used my last cinnamon in the batter) so on top I just sprinkled white sugar and pumpkin pie spice. Also, I used part white flour, part Self-Rising flour since that’s all I had. Thanks for sharing.
