Ingredients

  • 2 cupsCooked Basmati Rice
  • 1 tbspButter
  • 1Big Sized Onion Sliced
  • 1Big Sized Tomato Sliced
  • 1Big Sized Capsicum Sliced
  • 1/4 cupGreen Peas
  • 3/4 tspTurmeric Powder
  • 1.5 tspRed Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tspGaram Masala
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tbspLemon Juice
  • As neededChopped Green Coriander Leaves for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat up the butter in a pan. Add sliced onions and cook till it turns translucent. Add sliced tomatoes, capsicum and green peas. Mix all and cook for a minute.

  2. 2

    Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well and cook till all vegetables are cooked.

  3. 3

    Add cooked rice and lemon juice. Mix well and cook further for a minute. Switch off the flame.

  4. 4

    Garnish with chopped green coriander leaves and serve hot with pickle or kadhi or curd or can have alone.
