Ingredients

  • 300 gramsmedium prawns peeled and deveined
  • 1 tspSalt as you taste
  • 1 cupgrated coconut
  • 2medium onion peeled and chopped
  • 4dried red chilli roasted
  • 2 teaspooncoriander seeds
  • 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  • 10pepper corns
  • 1/4 teaspoonfenugreek seeds mathi dana
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 5garlic cloves peeled
  • 1 1/2 tablespoontamarind pulped
  • 3 tablespoonoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash prawns thoroughly under running water drain and pat dry sprinkle with salt and set aside

    Take pan add red chilly cumin seeds coriander seeds pepper corns fenugreek seeds dry cook and keep aside

    Take pan add oil add onion fry add naryal add dry masala cook well and grind fain masala add tamarind pulped

    Take pan add oil add prawns and fry well keep aside

    In a pan add oil and add masala fry add salt and saute for 5 minutes add 2 cup water and mix well when the mixture comes to the boil add prawns and adjust seasoning

  6. 6

    Simmer for 5 minutes and ready to serve hot prawns ghassi enjoy with paratha and boil rice
