I'm sharing the recipe I always use and it never disappoints, originally from an Instagrammer, 'La cucina di Livia.' It's actually a brioche recipe, but it makes amazing burger buns.

I'm sharing the recipe I always use and it never disappoints, originally from an Instagrammer, 'La cucina di Livia.' It's actually a brioche recipe, but it makes amazing burger buns.

Place the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in the bowl of a stand mixer. Gradually add the milk, then the sour cream.

Add the beaten egg last, then knead for 10 minutes. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rise for 1 hour 30 minutes.

Punch down the dough and shape into balls. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rise for 40 minutes. Brush with the egg yolk mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake for 20–25 minutes at 350°F (180°C). Make your burgers as you like!
