An easily done Chaat recipe that is a favourite with my children. I always make it for them every fortnight for a healthy protein intake. I usually add Cucumbers and Capsicum too but in this period of difficulty and lockdown, it's not been possible. But if you have these at home. Do add them for a lovely crunch. It makes for a perfect Iftaar meal too. Enjoy this yummy Chaat with everyone around you.

Wash and soak Black Chickpeas overnight for the best results. There is one important thing to share with you all here. I normally wash it two to three times and then soak in enough clean drinking water. Cover it well. Next day, just remove any scum on the top if it is seen. And boil on high heat with little Salt. If the water is more, discard a little of it and then boil. In this way, there is no loss of essential nutrients.

Mix all the ingredients and toss well. Serve immediately with more of Chat Masala sprinkled on top. Alternatively you can squeeze a little of Lemon juice for a tangy and quickly made Kala Chana Chaat.
