Take the first five dry ingredients and sieve well

In a separate bowl whisk together the sugar and oil really well, but do not overmix

Add in the vanilla essence
Slowly mix the oil and sugar mix with the dry ingredients. - 4
Adding milk very gradually using a balloon whisk till you get the right consistency.

Divide the batter into two and add cocoa powder to one part.

Now grease the baking mold with butter and dust some flour over it.

Slowly and carefully pour both the batters alternatively in the centre of the pan.

Repeat till the batter finishes. then make a spider web kinda design with a toothpick by drawing it from the centre of the batter to the corners.

Place the cake tin in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 min.

Check with a skewer
Let it cool on a wire rack
