Instant Apple Tea

I used to drink this tea at a cafe when I was a student.
There are no helpful hints since this recipe is so easy.
Sprinkle with cinnamon powder if you like.
When you are making the 'authentic' version, cook the apple peel over low heat. If you bring to a boil, the water will take on a bitter flavor. Recipe by Chiton

Steps
- 1
Mince the apple.
- 2
Add the sugar into piping hot tea, then add the minced apple. That's it.
- 3
In the summer, make it sweeter and serve cold.
- 4
If you want to be a bit more 'serious' about making it properly... bring water to a boil. Turn down the heat to low, and add the apple peels for color and to add fragrance to the water (depending on the variety of apple you use, the colour may not be that strong.)
- 5
Steep tea with the Step 4 hot water. Add the minced apple right away, and it's done. It'll be even more aromatic. I also added homemade apple jam to the tea.
