I #choosetocook because or I will say choosetobake because I love baking , baking is a therapy whenever I feel low I bake , it uplifts my mood , in baking there are lots of techniques among which I like I.e making the meringue its basically made by whipping the egg whites then used in so many recipes e.g cakes , chifon cakes , swiss rolls , velvet cakes etc. So I made swiss roll or batik roll recipe by same technique of meringue it gives more spongy outcome.

FIRST WILL MAKE BATTER FOR DESIGN
Tin size 10 by 10 inches
Mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, sieve 3 times keep a side.
Method :
Beat egg white till foam. Add sugar beat, add oil beat, add that all-purpose flour mixed baking powder previously & fold with wooden spoon.
Now Divide in as many parts as you want.
Add color then fill in piping bags separately.
Make design on greased parchment paper lined in tin.
Then put in freezer & start making roll batter. - 2
METHOD OF ROLL BATTER
1.Mix dry ingredients keep a side.
2.Separate egg whites & yolks.
3. Just roughly beat yolks, add milk mix, add oil & mix, add vanilla essence & mix. Keep a side.
4.Beat egg whites till foam (meringue) keep a side,
5. Make well in center of dry ingredients now pour wet ingredients mix make smooth paste, now fold egg whites meringue in this paste. Take out design from freezer pour this batter over it & bake. - 3
Bake on 150 degrees centigrade for 15 to 25 minutes Or till tooth pick inserted comes out clean its ready, now leave in tin for 5 minutes then remove from tin, peel off the paper.
Note : Baking time depends on oven to oven so don't over bake otherwise it will break while rolling.

Now take a cloth damp it then wring all water then dust with flour.
Roll the sheet cake on it as shown in pictorial below - 5
Dont push hard it will crack, turn & roll with light hands, then let it rest for 10 minutes to set.

After 10 minutes apply any filling of your choice whipped cream, pastry cream or jam. Then roll again with cloth, keep in airtight box in fridge to set.

Swiss roll / Batik roll cake is ready, serve chilled enjoy with coffee or tea.
