Barros Jarpa Sandwich

This morning I woke up craving something tasty. I made this sandwich for breakfast—it's simple and quick. As always, I used some homemade bread I keep in the freezer for when I need it.

This morning I woke up craving something tasty. I made this sandwich for breakfast—it's simple and quick. As always, I used some homemade bread I keep in the freezer for when I need it.
Steps
- 1
I used ciabatta bread for this sandwich, which I made myself.
The cheese I used was Muenster, but you can use any cheese you like, such as those listed above. - 2
Slice the bread in half lengthwise and toast the cut sides on a skillet or griddle.
Spread with butter if you like. (Optional) - 3
Place 1 1/2 slices of cheese on each half. Put the bread back on the skillet or griddle to melt the cheese.
- 4
Add 1 slice of ham to each half and heat until the ham is warm.
- 5
Close the sandwich and serve. The bread and ham will be hot, and the cheese melted. Use sandwich picks if you like.
- 6
You can use sandwich picks if you want.
Serve with French fries, chips, or any side you like.
