This is Beef Bibimbap — aka the Korean queen of “mix it up and mind your business.” 🔥

We’ve got juicy, sizzling beef doing the absolute most. Fluffy rice as the soft life foundation. Rainbow veg lined up like they’ve come to serve looks AND crunch. And that glossy, golden egg on top? Main character energy only.

Then comes the gochujang heat — sweet, spicy, slightly feral in the best way. You stir it all together and suddenly it’s chaos… but make it delicious.

It’s balanced. It’s bold. It’s giving “I meal prepped but I also have flavour and personality.”

FGT verdict?
Colourful. Comforting. Slightly dramatic. Just how we like it. 💅🔥

Ingredients

  • 300 gCooked white rice
  • 150 gBeef (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 pieceZucchini
  • 1/2 pieceCarrot
  • 2 stalksGreen onion
  • 50 gMushrooms
  • 50 gKimchi
  • 1 tbspSoy sauce
  • 1 tbspSesame oil
  • 1 tspBlack sesame seeds

Steps

    Slice zucchini, carrot, green onion, and mushrooms.

  2. 2

    Sauté beef with soy sauce and half the sesame oil until cooked.

  3. 3

    Sauté zucchini and carrot separately with a little sesame oil.

  4. 4

    Sauté mushrooms until tender.

  5. 5

    Place rice in a bowl, arrange beef, vegetables, mushrooms, and kimchi on top.

  6. 6

    Sprinkle green onion and black sesame seeds over everything.

Tips

For extra flavor, marinate the beef in soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil for 30 minutes before cooking.
