Creamy Tomato Pasta with Basil, Thyme and Chives

I've tried making bell pepper cajun pasta with cream cheese (a bit different i know) and
I think this is what inspired me to make another version of a creamy pasta but this time keep it traditional with the tomatoes and the basil etc.
The chives add more of a garlic taste to the dish - add this if you want more of a garlicky taste to your pasta along with the minced garlic!

Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 200C / 180C fan.
- 2
Cook the pasta in salted water until just underdone, then drain.
- 3
Put the pasta in a baking dish.
- 4
Stir in the creamy pasta bake sauce, the halved tomatoes, and the soft cheese.
- 5
Add in minced garlic, some salt and pepper to a pan and fry for about 2 mins until soft. Add this to the pasta in the baking dish.
- 6
Add torn basil, then season with a little salt and pepper.
- 7
Mix everything well so the pasta is coated.
- 8
Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbling and hot through.
- 9
Leave it to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Tips
Don't add too much cream - keep it the consistency you want.
Add a little olive oil at the end - this makes the whole dish so much better!
