Steps

Heat 1 tbs of ghee in a cooker saute cardamom,cinnamon and clove until it’s turn aromatic

Now add washed rice. I used kollum so no need to soak the rice. If you used basmati rice washed and soaked for 15 minutes

Add 2 cup water some saffron sticks. Cover with lid. Put it on low medium flame. After 1 whistle simmer the gas and cook the rice for 15 minutes. Switched off the gas. Let the rice cool down

Heat the 2 tbs ghee in a pan on low medium flame

Add cashew and raisins. Fry well and keep aside

In same pan add coconur saute for a minute. Add jaggery mix well till jaggery melt completely

Add 1/4 tsp lemon juice, cardamom powder mix well

Now add this jaggery coconut mixture in a cooled rice. Mix well

Now switch the gas on low flame cover the rice and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.until the flavours are absorbed well

Narali bhat is ready to eat. Once Narali bhat is cool completely it tastes great
