Ingredients

  1. 1 lbpancit bihon (rice noodle)
  2. 1/2 lbpork, cut into small thin slices
  3. 1/2 lbchicken, cooked, deboned, and cut into thin slices
  4. 1/4 lbpeapods, if desired
  5. 1 cupcarrot, cut into small thin slices
  6. 1/2 smallcabbage, chopped
  7. 1 cupcelery leaves, chopped finely
  8. 1 mediumsize onion, chopped
  9. 1/2 tbspgarlic, minced
  10. 1pc chicken cube or salt to taste
  11. 5 tbspsoy sauce
  12. 4 cupwater

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large pot, saute the garlic and onion.

    Add the pork and chicken then cook for 5 minutes.

    Add the chicken cube and water then simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Put-in the carrots, peapod, cabbage and celery leaves and simmer for a few minutes.

  5. 5

    Remove all the ingredients in the pot except the liquid and set them aside.

  6. 6

    In the pot with the liquid in, add the soy sauce and mix well.

  7. 7

    Add the pancit bihon (make sure to first soak in water for about 10 minutes) and mix well

  8. 8

    Cook until liquid evaporates completely.

  9. 9

    Put-in the vegetables and meat that were previously cooked and simmer for 5 minutes.

  10. 10

    Serve hot. Share and enjoy. Serve 8.
