Mix all the dry ingredients together first. Then, rub the butter into the flour until well combined. Add the oil and mix it into the flour thoroughly.

Gradually add warm water until the dough just comes together. Knead the dough on your work surface with the palm of your hand until smooth. Cover and let it rise for 30 minutes.

When ready to use, knead the dough lightly by hand to release any air. Take a small ball of dough, lightly oil your work surface, and roll the dough into a circle. Add your desired filling.

Fold the other side of the dough over the filling as shown in the picture, and use your fingertips to seal the edges around the filling.

Place a cup over the pastry as shown in the picture.

Press down on the cup to cut the dough, creating a smooth, puffy pastry.

Grease a baking sheet with oil and arrange all the pastries on it, leaving space between each one.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 20 to 25 minutes, watching until they turn a beautiful golden color.

Place on a serving plate and enjoy.
