6 hours before (prep) Topping: combine berries, 3/4 cup water and 1 cup of white granulated sugar in a sauce pan; cook 5 minutes until skins. Soften gelatin, 2 tbsp water add to berries until dissolved; refrigerate sauce until it thickens.

Bake at 350ºF for 50 minutes. Turn off heat and leave cake in oven for an additional 30 minutes.
