This yummilicious curry is the base of all Makhani curries.Heavenly delicious recipes can be made simple with this curry at home.
I used to prepare curry of makhani masala over the weekend and store in refrigerator. I just grill the cheese / mushrooms /chicken and add to the makhani curry paste depending upon family preferences.

Heat butter in a pan.
Add chopped onions and green chilli. Saute over low flame till it becomes soft and light brown. - 2
Next add the ginger and diced tomato.

Cook the masala it tomato turn tender and mushy.
Add salt, sugar, turmeric powder, tomato ketchup and Kashmiri red chilli powder. Stir to combine. - 4
Fry till oil gets separate from the masala. switch off the flame.
Allow it to cool down completely before blending into a smooth paste. - 5
Take 1 tsp of butter in a pan, add blended curry to it.

Grill the cheese on other side and add to gravy to have heavenly delicious buttery dish.
