8 tbspmelted unsalted butter
2eggs
1/2 cup+ 4 tbs caster sugar
1 tspvanilla essence
Pinchsalt
1/3 cupcocoa powder
1/2 cupsifted maida

Steps

Beat eggs with sugar for 1 minute on medium speed.

Then add butter, salt, vanilla and cocoa powder and beat well.

Now add maida and mix for 1 minute on slow speed.

Transfer the batter into greased 8×8 inch square cake pan.

Bake in preheated oven at 170°c for 20 to 30 minutes.
