
I did differ from the recipe but it came out AMAZING! Used Lebanese spices for the seasoning 😍

Thanks! I used Lebanese spices, it’s hard to pinpoint the exact spices because we buy it over the counter/fresh spice display at our local Middle eastern grocer. The basics are sumac, cumin, cinnamon, white pepper and black pepper. Try find a grocer that sells by the kilo/pound. You can get them in the super market but it never has that authentic taste like it does from a grocer. Put some onions on the bottom of the pan as well to create that char taste. Roasted some potatoes and pumpkin on the side with rosemary, thyme, basil, mint and olive oil. If you want a Lebanese traditional potato taste; just squeeze lemon over them and crushed garlic (toss lemon skin in as well)... Next time I roast I will definitely try the butter milk 😃
