Omg those are absolutely GORGEOUS!!! That’s what I’m hoping heaven looks like😍

@sherrys_chronicles. June - September every year, I eat my infamous tomato-pimento cheese sandwich, each and everyday. A very passionate food-love story! 😉

SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles @sherrys_chronicles
Pimento cheese and tomatoes are like salt and pepper. They were made for each other. Do you have a pimento cheese recipe? If you don’t write one so I can try it!!

Lee's @Lees
@sherrys_chronicles I just do the basic southern pimento cheese Sherry. Nothing fancy. I might play around with the spice levels, but nothing to over the top. Good mayo, sharp cheddar, roasted peppers, etc.

You’re a purist just like me. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Lee's @Lees
@sherrys_chronicles Yes.. None of this cream cheese bla bla bla stuff. Besides its all about celebrating that beautiful heirloom tomato!!!

SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles @sherrys_chronicles
That basically doesn’t need anything but salt in my world. Or not.

Lee's @Lees
@sherrys_chronicles Got that right. Like a chicken salad with grapes, nuts, pits, prunes, etc.. Might as well have a fruit and nut salad with a hint if chicken!!! Ha

SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles @sherrys_chronicles
Lee the last thing I want is a nut in my chicken salad lol I don’t want fruit either. Mama either used hard boiled eggs or a peeled steamed potato for a filler because there were so many of us.

Lee's @Lees
@sherrys_chronicles Just finished planting my onions.. Maters won't be to far behind.. Let's get spring a rolling!!

SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles @sherrys_chronicles
It’s supposed to be 90 this week😫 when you harvest those onions I wanna see um!!

Lee's @Lees
@sherrys_chronicles I'll show ya how Texans grow em. If I have a decent crop, you won't believe how big and also sweet they are.

SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles @sherrys_chronicles
Mom and dad used to go to Mission Tx every winter and they’d bring back those good 1015 onions. I miss the Texas produce

SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles @sherrys_chronicles
Was it the 1015s? Pretty sure they were

Lee's @Lees
@sherrys_chronicles We can't hardly buy 10/15 here in texas in the stores. Most of them are exported to other states..

Lee's @Lees
Just like our gulf coast blue crabs. They are almost exclusively exported to Maryland. Go figure!!
