My 9 year old daughter wanted to make her dad a birthday cake today. I let her use a boxed cake mix but then she made this frosting to go on top. I think she did a wonderful job and the decorations turned out beautiful in my opinion.

TN has 3 distinctive areas. My husband hails from west TN (flat as a pancake there). He grew up 80 miles this side of Memphis. Then Nashville, well…it’s Music City & there’s so much to do there. Then east TN with the mountains and lots of lakes. I love NC. I have friends living in Raleigh. Jim & I love Asheville & all there is to see there. Beautiful state.

I love the beach too. We go thru NC on our way to Myrtle beach occasionally or to Charleston, SC. I had Melanoma in 2005, so I don’t bask in the sun like I used to. But nothing beats the sound of the waves crashing and that constant sea breeze! ⛱☀️🏝
