I loooove this, too! Biscuits were not thin enough, so I've changed my plan and made a lot of small lebkuchens. It was a really exciting process to make it; it's totally new to me!thanks a lot!!

I must confess that I've skipped spices! They are so nice and tasty without spices (peels do work!), but I'd like to make them again with a plenty of spices in the future!

Oh! I have the spices recipe but the baker said it was a secret so i can't share exactly, hah. Its basically mostly cinnamon, some ground coriander & a pinch of cloves, mace, allspice and cardamom ;)
