I've tried to make Sheppard's pie (or cottage pie, more accurately) before and it didn't come out very well. This one is delicious!! I used left over roasted potatoes and sweet potatoes for the topping, and the carrot it called for was again roasted carrots from Christmas dinner. This is my new go-to recipe for Cottage/Sheppard's pie!

Thank you!! I didn't have cream, so I used sour cream and a touch of milk for the topping. The sweet potatoes added a nice flavour as well! I'm thrilled that I finally made one that came out good!! Lol!
