Thank you for trying this. It is not meant to appear the way it is represented here, Indian Butterchicken has a very smooth silky and buttery appearance. The beauty lays in mixing all the ingredients into a velvety sauce that accompanies the chicken that is cut into bite size chunks .Other than the chicken and a very smooth sauce there is nothing to see . The sauce needs to be blended well.
Taste buds and likes of texture are all different.
In an authentic Indian version( and my recipe is such a version) the sauce is of different texture ; thick and creamy and the colour is more vibrant.
I now not eat it with chicken but the sauce also lends itself for use with tofu, vegetarian sausages or with just vegetables . :-)
