
Im from new orleans... made mine using red potatoes and left skin on (thats how we eat 'em in the N.O.), came out awesome! Yukon golds are great too. Absolutely LOVE this recipe. Will make this again soon, was an instant hit here at home w my girlfriend during our movie nite!! I also subbed milk for half and half...more calories but worth every bite!! =^.^=

Girl i kno i over-estimated the amount of potatoes so as i was pouring them into the pan i realized the dish itself wasnt big enough. I actually had more left over n the pot that didnt make it 2 the pan but my lovely gf was more than happy 2 take the extra off my hands lol. Love ur recipe!! :ohyeaah
