Its kinda like a soft mozzarella texture.... its used in a lot of Indian food .... its also called farmers cheese...

Some ppl from India are vegetarians.. they eat no meat... this takes the place... does not melt like regular cheese... kinda like cottage cheese...

Its easy just make sure it doesnt stick at bottom as milk heats

I used a pan with a non stick coating.... but Pallu said she used a stainless steel pan... mine just would not curdle...

That's exactly how I felt .. I only used a quart of a gallon of milk.... I also suggest looking at recipes for farmers cheese... BABYBEL is a farmers cheese..... the website had it used for Mac and cheese..... if u get a chance Google farmer cheese recipe .... :-)

I looked on WWW.cooks.com and typed in using farmers cheese..... they have lots of recipes for cakes... cheese cakes...etc

I think I'm gonna make palaak paneer... from this.... I only make about 1 cup from 3 cups of milk..... I used a 1/2 cup of vinegar
