So good!! I did change the recipe a bit - 3cups whole wheat flour, 1/2cup sugar, 1/2cup brown sugar - other than that, all the same, and VERY YUMMY!! Thank you<3

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :) It's my mom's recipe. Great for stormy weather, especially when they're fresh.

How do you store them?? Can they be frozen? Just wondering the best way to store them since we won't eat them all tonight. (though, I could, they are so good!!)

We usually just store them in a cookie jar. I'm sure you can freeze them, but I'm not really the one to answer that question with certainty.

Cool! I put 1/2 the batch in the cookie jar, and 1/2 in the freezer, I will let you know how the freezer ones taste after thawing:-)

Frozen ones thaw very nicely at room temperature!! We live in Florida, so the humidity made the ones in the cookie jar kinda soggy. I moved them all to the freezer yesterday:-)

(Didn't see your comment until just now) glad to know that worked out for you. I'll certainly have to try freezing them next time these are made over here.
