- Hi there! We don't do Jalapeno's. The idea here is to add some extra heat and then the depth the vegetable brings. You could easily substitute canned chiles (we like anaheims) or perhaps up the amount of onion added, then add in some cayenne or pepper flakes. Its your spice level comfort, so try what works for you and remember- the pepperoni is spicy and so is the sausage so there will be plenty of flavor.
