Cara Membuat

    These are your basic ingredients. You can substitute ham with boneless chicken breast or minced beef. Make sure you grill your chicken breast beforehand and set them aside.

    I am using radiatori pasta for this recipe. I love how it has curves to hide the sauce until they explode in your mouth.

    Start with mincing your garlic finely. I like to mince them rather than crushing them with garlic press. The juice would be all gone!

    Cube your ham. If you are using chicken breast, grill them first until they are brown and cube them afterwards.

    Chop your onion finely. I like them in little cubes - soaked tender in tomato sauce.

    Cube your mozzarella cheese. Make sure they sit in room temperature while you are cooking so they will melt more easily.

    Heat some olive oil on your biggest skillet. I didn't use olive oil - but Happy salad oil. Seriously, the brand is Happy. Anyway, do you notice the Yin and Yang shape my oil is creating on the pan? This recipe is spiritually approved, man.

    Saute your onion until it starts to turn translucent.

    Add in your meat and keep sauteing on medium - high heat.

    Add in your garlic and season with little bit of salt and plenty of black pepper. Then add in your canned tomatoes and splash of water. Adjust your seasonings. (Should have included a picture of canned tomatoes going into the skillet, I know...)

    On your other stove, heat some water to boil your pasta.

    Always, always boil your pasta in violent boiling water. Add in little bit of salt to season the water.

    The package said 9 minutes so I boiled them for exactly 9 minutes. Perfect. What's not perfect is that I had a smudge of sauce there. I was going to dump them into the sauce before I realised I hadn't taken any photos! So... very forgetful person.

    This is the Secret Ingredient 1. It's Garlic Cheese Spread! Add a BIG spoonful of this to your sauce. It has the consistency similar to ricotta cheese minus the high price tag. Plus it has garlicky fragrance which I love!

    This is the Secret Ingredient 2. A small spoonful of UNSALTED BUTTER is enough to transform your tomato sauce into rich marinara sauce. Do not spend money buying jarred marinara sauce. It's so easy to make!

    Dump them in, and stir until they are melted. Your sauce will turn orange-y and smell like heaven.

    Now you need to act fast. Add in your softened mozzarella cubes and spread them across the skillet. Add in your pasta right away and toss them until they are coated. In less than 1 minute, the cheese will be melted and...

    ...you will have this. Skillet lasagna. What more can you ask for when you can make this type of dish without an oven? Enjoy! :)
