Cooking Instructions
- 1
when hard boiled eggs are cool enough to handle peel off shell.
- 2
using the tip of a carving knife very carefully split the egg white in half. making sure u do not cut the yolk. just run the knife along the outside creating a ring around the center of the egg. u should be able to twist off the top to reveal egg yolk.
- 3
remove yolk and set aside
- 4
starting with the bottom part off the egg white. start making jagged edges that are triangular in shape. angle knife from the middle edge to make a small 1/4 inch diagonal cut. then angle knife opposite way making same cut to meet your first cut. cutting out a small triangle.
- 5
repeat all the way around the egg. now ur egg should look "cracked" repeat with top part of egg white.
- 6
trim the bottom of the biggest part of the egg so it stand up on its own. just a little shave off the bottom is all u need.
- 7
place a few of ur cut triangle pieces in the bottom egg white. set yolk on top so it is sitting and can be easily seen.
- 8
place egg white top on top of the yolk however u would like as long as u can see most of the yolk.
- 9
use either slivered almonds or carrot and gently press into yolk creating an opened angry mouth! it should look like he is yelling. if ur pieces are to wide the yolk will crack and crumble. so make sure u have very skinny pieces.
- 10
for the eyes.. u need something very tiny like the size of the tip of a sharpened pencil.. I used tomato.. I carved two tiny round pieces out of a tomato that I had left over. place where eyes look like they would go.
- 11
and there u have ur angry bird baby chick!

This is my first dish in my 7-day series I'll be doing in "Made-at-home Fast Food favorites." The only difference between this and what you would get at BK in their Angry Whopper is the onion petals. However, I chose to do plain onion instead since it's healthier. ThatStecksyChef -

Got the filling recipe from my grandmother. Everyone loves the creamy taste. Saw the chick idea online and thought it was a nice, playful touch. You can even dye the egg whites blue or pink to use for baby shower appetizers. Have fun 😉 Tallior -

Baby Corn Fritters Baby Corn Fritters
I used the coating from "Italian Tempura Fritters"and had fun with it to make a crispy and light coating for the vegetables. Please don't use cake flour, use bread flour. This is not difficult like making Japanese tempura. They will easily become crispy. Make sure to sprinkle with salt while they are still hot, otherwise the flavor won't be absorbed. Red Chicken Red Chicken
It's been a difficult year. However, I believe that we have plenty of reasons to be grateful. Every time I wake up, I am thankful because I am still alive. I am still given the chance to brighten someone's day. I can still fix some mistakes. Yes, it sounds sappy. I wake up each day with plenty of tasks in my head--like in an RPG game--and I am lucky if I can complete half of them. This pandemic has taught me not to be too hard on myself. I am managing this, I am surviving, and I can still help others. That's a blessing.Since the kids are studying at home, we have more family time. They have more time to cook. They cook for the whole family three times a week, sometimes more, when my partner and I can't do it. After years of teaching them how to cook, I am glad to notice that their dishes have become tastier. This is one of the dishes that they made.#givingthanks Angela Mertoyono
