27 years ago, I live in Bali for 3 years and I have a lot real Balinese friends and they show me they old fashion way , they use shrimp paste and oil after they fried ikan Teri, sugar and bit salt
And every time I make SAMBAL MATAH that way , omg they best one
And my Aussie friends say ENAK BANGET
