Ingredients

  1. 14-16 sheetsGraham Crackers
  2. 1 cup (2 sticks)unsalted butter
  3. 1 cupbrown sugar
  4. 1/4 tsp.salt
  5. 1 cupsemisweet chocolate chips
  6. 1 cupchopped pecans (or other desired topping)
  7. Additional Topping Options :
  8. Crushed Peppermints
  9. Additional Chocolate Chips
  10. Toffee Chips
  11. M&Ms
  12. Sprinkles
  13. Different Types of Nuts (almonds, cashews, etc...)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 11x15" baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the graham crackers touching side by side in a single layer across the sheet. Break some of the pieces to fit, if necessary. Set aside.

  2. 2

In a medium saucepan, heat the butter over med-high heat. Once melted, add the brown sugar and salt and whisk to combine. Continue cooking until the mixture reaches a boil, whisking constantly. Let boil for about 2 minutes, then remove from heat and pour evenly over the graham crackers. Use a rubber spatula or the back of a large spoon to spread the mixture evenly over the top of the crackers.

  3. 3

Bake for 6-7 minutes, until the mixture is bubbly.

  4. 4

Remove pan from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly across the top (try to spread them out better than I did 😒) Place the baking tray back into the still hot oven to help the chocolate melt quickly and let sit in there for about 3-5 minutes. Then, remove from oven and use the back of a large spoon or a rubber spatula to spread the melted chocolate around.

  5. 5

Sprinkle the chopped pecans (or other topping of your choice) on top of the melted chocolate. Let sit for around 2 hours, then cut or break into pieces and serve.

  6. 6

Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

I love to bake and to try out new recipes! I'm always on the lookout for simple dinners for busy weeknights. A lot of the recipes I post on here are ones I've found on Pinterest or from different bloggers, and that I've tried and really enjoyed, but I always reference to where I got the recipe from in the recipe description and the pictures are my own. If there's no source listed, then it's a rare recipe that I came up with. I have two wonderful kids and I hope to pass on my love of cooking and baking to them.
