How to make a rock-hard bread soft again
I’m not saying the bread will taste like fresh again, but at least it’ll be soft so you can easily slice it without cutting your hand with the knife.
Run the hard loaf under the water for 1 or 2 seconds and pop in preheated oven or microwave for almost 5-7 minutes.

That’s it. Better to use it immediately. I don’t imagine it’s a good idea to revive the same loaf of bread twice!
