I want to make this tonight. On step 6, do you put all of that on potatoes before putting in oven? It does specify on what to do with the seasoned melted butter.. Just how to make it. When do I add this to the potatoes? Thanks!

Hi Alecia. If I recall, I sorta winged it and put some on before AND after baking. I thought it might be too dry to just go in without something oily between the slices.

I was afraid they'd stick together, but I think the baking process actually pulled the slices apart somewhat and made lathering on the butter afterwards a little easier.
