So I am really loving your recipes! And I love that this recipe includes flaxseed! I'm currently nursing my newborn and was looking for recipes to help with production (oats and flaxseed are two helpers). I added a couple tbs of brewer's yeast to the batter as well to round out the supplements. I made mini muffins, half with dark chocolate, half without, and ended up with 48. It was dangerous to make them minis! These are not going to last long at all! Thanks!

They are SO easy to clean! I don't think I've had a single thing stuck yet and I've never had to soak them before cleaning. Everything wipes right out. As far as heating, they can be placed directly on the oven rack, but I still place mine on a cookie sheet for the added stability. Since they are flexible to begin with I worry about spilling batter when putting in the oven, then due to heating they become more flexible so pulling them out without support is also tricky. I don't mind using the cookie sheet though since I'm not getting it dirty, and it doesn't affect the heating of the silicone at all. Plus there's something there to catch accidental overflows, although I've never had that happen. Lol.
