How to make beef stew by following this simple steps

Ingredients

5 people
  1. 1onion (diced)
  2. 2tomatoes (diced)
  3. Tomatoe paste
  4. Oil
  5. 4 clovesgalic
  6. 1 kgbeef
  7. Potatoes
  8. Vegetables (Capsicum, Carrots and Coriander)
  9. Spices of choice (Royco, Black pepper, cayenne)

Cooking Instructions

    Put the diced onions in a sufuria add oil and cook over medium heat. Cook the onions till golden brown then add the tomatoes into the sufuria then stir it to mix the onions and tomatoes together

    Remove skins from cloves of garlic and smash them using the pestle and mortar(Kinu) add some water then pour the garlic mix into the onions and tomatoes mix in the sufuria. Stir well to mix all ingredients then add water to make a paste like substance

    Make sure your beef has been cut into pieces of your choice and washed well. Add in the beef to the mixture in the sufuria the stir well all the ingredients. Add some more water and then let it cook for a while. You can cover with a sufuria lid (make sure it does not burn)

    Peel potatoes then wash them. Add the potatoes in the sufuria with the beef mixture and then add salt and spices of your choice. Let all of them cook together over medium heat

    Add some water not a lot to make your stew watery and tasteless, just enough, stir in the tomatoe paste then cover your stew and cook over low heat.

    Cook for about 10-15 minutes. Keep checking if the potatoes are done. NOTE: if undone add some water but if the potatoes are done do not add any water. Turn off heat then serve your stew.
