@lfoss5 I think that cowboy stew has bunch of different kind of beans, pulled pork and brisket, peppers, onions and spices.

@lfoss5 sorry the one I mentioned above is cowboy beans. The cowboy stew is ground beef, kielbasa sausage, potatoes and tomatoes, spices, pinto beans, and whole kernel corn

I had what I “think” I had something in Iowa and the ingredients in yours are the only ingredients I remember. She called it cowboy stew. All I remember is that it was sooo good!!! With buttered bread - yummm!!!!!! Thanks - I’ll have to give a whirl though!!!

My mom’s made something similar, but it had tomato sauce and chili powder instead of ketchup. She may have put brown sugar in it. I don’t remember my brother has been wanting the recipe for years. She always served it with fried cornbread. She also made one similar that use potatoes and stewed tomatoes instead of the pork and beans, I didn’t like it as much but it was still good.
