My father was Cuban you can even drop whole egg in at end while at a constant simmer cover for like 3-5 minutes at end then turn heat off super yummy

Some people add raisins and even cashews as well but I love it like that!!..

Interesting. The wiki on picadillo mentions a lot of regional variations. Not sure I'd be into the raisins, but some spices or vinegar or tomatoes could be good.

Tomatoes great with!!.. I add pico de gallo if made in fridge I love cooking with and yes seasons!!! Fresh cilantro good!.. Could go on in on lol!!!... great starter recipe!
